QUESTIONS AND FACTS
WHEN ARE YOU OPEN? WHAT ARE YOUR RENTAL MONTHS?
We are open 365 days a year! Months of rentals are:
- Boats – June through September
- UTV – May through November
- Snowmobiles – December through April
WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS FOR OPERATING OR RIDING A VEHICLE?
Boat operators and UTV drivers must be at least 18 years of age. Snowmobile drivers must be 16 years of age. All drivers must possess a valid driver's license. All ages are welcome to ride! Children under the age of 18 are required to wear a helmet on the UTV and all snowmobile riders must wear a helmet.
IS DELIVERY AVAILABLE FOR UTVs and BOAT RENTALS?
Definitely! We offer delivery from anywhere between $50 and $150, depending on your location. CONTACT US for more information.
DO I NEED TO KNOW HOW TO DRIVE AN UTV OR SNOWMOBILE?
Nope! We have had many beginners rent a vehicle from us, and we’re happy to give you a few pointers. If it’s your first time snowmobiling, we recommend the 2025 Polaris 550, which is slow and steady and well-suited to those who have never been on a sled before. First-time UTVers won’t have any trouble learning the ropes — but we offer a quick overview, just in case.
DO I NEED TO SIGN A WAIVER?
Yes, all riders must sign a liability and equipment waiver. A copy will be available during the booking process. This may also be done online prior to arrival. Please bring your driver's license.
DO YOU OFFER FLEXIBLE SCHEDULES?
Yes, when openings are available we will most certainly try and be flexible with your schedule. During peak season we do need to stick to our scheduled times, but stop in and give us a call and we will try our best to work with you.
WHAT IF I GET LOST?
Although Montana’s many trails are well-marked, it still is possible to end up a bit off the beaten track! For this reason, we equip all riders with a walkie-talkie to base. That way, if you do end up lost, we can send a member of our team to guide you back to the business office. You may also download the Avenza Map prior to your visit. Call ahead for map names.
CAN I BOOK A PRIVATE TOUR?
We only offer private tours, so you will be getting one-on-one attention from your guide on whatever experience you book.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR? DO YOU HAVE GEAR RENTAL?
For snowmobiling, we recommend wearing warm layers and ski gear. However, we rent EVERYTHING you could possibly need for the cold. Don’t stress too much if your closet has more paisleys than parkas! Helmets are included in all rentals.
WHAT ELSE SHOULD WE BRING?
Summer: You may bring a speaker for music. Also a great idea is a cooler for food and drinks. If you don’t have a cooler, we rent them for $5.00.
Winter: We have a full kitchen and convience store at our home base, so if you need any snacks, handwarmers or tylenol we've got you covered.
CAN I CHANGE MY RESERVATION?
Yes. We work very hard to accommodate the schedules of our guests. If you need to change your reservation, and it follows our cancellation policy, just give us a call.
DO YOU OFFER BACKCOUNTRY GUIDED TOURS?
Yes we do! Depending on your skill level, we can arrange a tour that goes off the marked trails. Please get in touch with us for more information.
DO YOU HAVE ANY RECOMMENDATIONS ON ACCOMMODATIONS IN THE AREA?
Absolutely! Please see our list of partners to find out the best places to stay.
CANCELLATION POLICY!
All cancellations within 48 hours will be charged in full. The deposit is non-refundable. However, if you call prior to the 48 hour window and rebook within the same season, we will apply the deposit to that booking.
NO SHOWS ARE CHARGED IN FULL.
